Maile is a 50 foot Gulfstar Sloop, one of a handful custom built in Florida in 1979. Gulfstars are very stable, well made and well crafted boats, with clean lines and ample room to relax. They are well suited for sailing around Hawaii, and Maile is just as much at home under full sail, as on anchor in a pristine bay.

Down below, the cabin area is spacious and comfortable, with lots of teak, a full galley, two private cabins, one forward, one aft, and two heads, one of which has a full shower.

Maile is the name of a fragrant vine used in making leis for special occasions, such as weddings.
