ocean film festival

The ocean film series has been making its premier around the Big Island this winter. This year's event features a collection of films, all major cinema documentaries, which collectively paint a picture of what is going on in the ocean today. Two of the films were shown at Hualalai Resort at the end of March for Club Members and resort guests to view. They will continue on to Maui and Oahu in collaboration with NOAA during the spring and summer of 2010.

The film series is slated to become an annual four day festival with films, breakfast talks, presentations and panel discussions with filmmakers, scientists and guest speakers. Please contact us if you would like more information. program
